Focus and Scope

International Journal of Entomological Research (IJER) calls for publications to all the aspects covering general, experimental, systematic and applied research related to development in plant, human, medical entomology and forensics as well. Quality research articles, research notes reporting experimental and theoretical contributions, conferences, critical reviews, commentaries, term papers and short communications written to a high quality English language are accepted for publication. Journal encompasses the myriad disciplines of evolution, biology, morphology, physiology, sampling, distribution, dispersal, biochemistry, anatomy, taxonomy, population and community ecology, development, behavior, life history, toxicology, population biology/ genetics, molecular biology/ genomics, neurobiology, vector control, pest management, resistance, repellents, host interaction, immunity, vector borne diseases, surveillance, prevention, direct injury, myiasis, forensics, modeling/GIS, risk assessment, economic impact and systematics of both recent and fossil insects. Journal provides a platform to researchers and academia faculty to share and expand the knowledge of scientific advancements in the myriad disciplines of entomology, acarology and applied aspects. IJER offers advanced and efficient on-line publication of research work after acceptance.  Research / review articles published in IJER are indexed by International indexing agencies to maintain the quality of work.

International Journal of Entomological Research is using online article submission, review and tracking system for quality and quick review processing. Journal rapid review process of 30 days followed by rapid publication of research article.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Print Subscriptions are payable in advance and are entered on annual basis i.e. January to December and are subjected to renewal in subsequent years.
