Focus and Scope

Journal of Virology and Biotechnology is an open access international academic journal devoted to publish original as well as extended versions of the published research. Journal is aimed at publishing articles on all aspects covering virology and biotechnology including research on humans, animals, plants and microbes.

Quality research manuscripts of the current interest covering cellular and molecular biology of viruses, biotechnological applications of viral pathogens including biochemical engineering/bioprocess engineering, plant biotechnology, animal biotechnology, marine biotechnology, microbial biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, industrial processes and related interface. Articles covering computer applications of new software concepts related to biotechnological impressions are also considered for publication. In addition to the principal content of full length and short research papers, journal publishes technical advances, along with major and mini reviews on areas of particular interest and importance. The journal is dedicated to minimize the time between submission, review and publication and to provide a high quality platform for original research in molecular virology and biotechnology.

Journal of Virology and Biotechnology is using online article submission, review and tracking system for quality and quick review processing. ESci Journal of Plant Pathology provides rapid review process of 04-06 weeks followed by rapid publication of research article.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
